When Things Get Tough, Talking Helps

Puāwaitanga means to blossom, to flourish, to break through.

Our team are all NZ registered professionals and counselling sessions are confidential and free.

We offer phone and web-based to people over the age of 18 who:

  • Receive benefit, pension or extra help payment through Work & Income

  • Hold a Community Service Card

  • Live in emergency or public housing

  • Are students at University of Auckland, AUT, Open Polytechnic or University of Otago

  • Are referred from Te Mahi Ako, Piki, Health Hawke's Bay, Waitaha Canterbury, South Canterbury or Think Hauora

1. Focused Support

Our counsellor will help you get closer to the life you want.

2. Booster Session

Check in with a follow-up session to review where things are at.

3. Open Door

Come back for more sessions if needed. It’s like a safety net for tough times.
