About
Cashel Health Centre is a Very Low Cost Access Medical Practice. We provide access to Primary Medical Care for those who can afford it the least, and often need it the most. This means that our fees are among the lowest in Christchurch.
What makes the practice special is the dedicated team who are here to help. We have many Nurse Practitioners in the team who provide standard GP Doctor level care in a holistic way. There is a strong focus on Mental Health, with a full range of services available.
How to Enroll at Cashel Health Centre
Please come see us at Reception to enroll at the practice.
You will need to complete and enrolment form at the practice.
You will also need to provide photo ID to verify your identity (Passport or Driver's License)
If you are not a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident please provide a current Work Visa.
We will then request your records from your previous Doctor's practice. This can take up to ten days.
All new patients will be asked to attend an initial health check up appointment with a Nurse. This allows us to make sure we know what we need to know about your health and wellbeing.

$21 Nurse Appointment + Blood Tests + Observations. Includes:
Blood Pressure
O2 Saturation
Weight & BMI
Cardio Vascular Risk Assessment
Blood Test for: Liver Function, Kidney Function and Blood Sugar and Blood Lipid (fat) levels
Free Follow Up Appointment with Health Coach to discuss results and help put a plan in place if needed.
